How Tasks for Points Works

ASSISTING BRITEVENTS NORTHWEST IN ITS AIMS

Our focus is on raising funds to finance or support British themed events, charitable education projects, start up British owned small businesses, and form partnerships with other British nonprofits in our region. This cannot be done be a single person, but we do not have the wealth to pay salaried staff to develop. We need volunteer helpers and supporters to assist that growth. Whilst we cannot provide money rewards in the main, we can offer thank you gifts of our volunteer's choosing from our ONLINE GIFT STORE. Britbuck© points are need to access those gifts and so we award points for tasks we need completing. The more skilled or complex the task, the more points.

THE TASK NOTICE BOARD

Please see below for our current task notices. They headline the outcome of the task such as "New members" or "Event Help" and spell out the requirements and when points are awarded. Some tasks will require prior experience or training and these will be highlighted with the 🤸‍♀️ symbol. We want to involve young people where we can and we are creating a special student section of Britevents Northwest as they are not eligible for Brit Club membership at this time. They will have a Brit Club Member who will need to supervise their task. Look out for the 🎓symbol if the task may be suitable for students under 18. Each task has a link to our Task Application Form. It is pretty simple unless the task has the 🤸‍♀️ symbol when we may need a resume and/or a reference.

NON PROFIT PARTNERSHIPS

We are looking to incorporate one British managed or British themed nonprofit, in each of our three Brit Club areas, into our new "Pledge and Pay" and "Donated Item" systems. 100% of that non profit's activity and investment must be in that Brit Club area. Britevents Northwest will add that Nonprofit to our beneficiaries on Pledge forms at local events. When that nonprofit is selected by a gifter from that Brit Club area, then 50% of the gift will go to that Nonprofit and 50% to Britevents Northwest's three Funds. Our 50% will qualify for "Pledge Credit" and a potential free thank you gift to the gifter. This is an incentive not normally available to most Nonprofits looking for direct donations.
