The gifts we offer in the GIFT STORE are a thank you to our Brit Club Members for providing money, sellable goods, or their time to help support either operations or events at our sister Britevents website (britevents.org) or help with our two managed charitable projects outlined on this website (Go to Services and Fundraising for full details).

Our rewards scheme (Britbuck© Points) are awarded in varying amounts according to an allocation depending on whether it was money, donated goods, or time that earned those points. More info on the rewards scheme below. The gifts are mostly new or if used then in mint/excellent condition. They mostly have a British connection and some are unique to Britevents such as our Silly Walks Button badge or Space Oddity magnetic cling.

Gift Collections and Special Services

There is no cash value to the points. The only defined "exchange" rate is that for every dollar in money gifted to us, one Britbuck© point is earned. Points for gifted goods depend on condition and how we receive them. Points for tasks are weighted according to difficulty in our minds. Some points may be earned without cause e.g. as a competition or raffle prize or for an unsolicited effort such as providing publicity. Gifts are exchanged for points, so there is no part points, part money exchange. There is an annual 10 point charge for the scheme, currently waived until January 2027.

The Gift Store is ordered by Collections. We have our Launch collections which are currently slated as "Limited Edition", "Nobility", "Christmas Specials", "David Bowie", and "British Postcards". We will be adding Collections each month to this list, starting in January 2027 with the "Winston Churchill" and "Monty Python" Collections. A gift item is designated as "Limited Edition" if it is only available through Britevents. Some gifts are designated as Special Order when you may have to wait up to 28 days for delivery. All shipping is included as part of the gift. Our first "Special Service" is the "Pick Up event". At these events, you can not only get a gift for a lower points value but you can also buy the necessary Britbuck© points at the event, even if you have a zero points balance.
